In June 2007, The Danish Society for Science, Technology and Innovation gave an assurance of a contribution of 11.1 million DKK for a new Innovation Consortium, which will develop and promote the use of self-cleaning surfaces in Danish high-end industrial products. The focus point is the use of photo-catalytic materials which degrade organic substances using light.
The following companies stand behind the project and are financing the rest of the total budget of 27.0 million DKK.
